Winter Solstice

“They who sing through the summer must dance in the winter." - Italian Proverb

This puppy loves the snow, he dances every time we get fresh powder.

December 21st is the Winter Solstice, the shortest day of the year. The Solstice marks the official start of winter and the beginning of a season where we gain more sunlight. Traditionally the Winter Solstice is a time of death and rebirth, when Nature’s powers and our own souls are renewed. This longest night of the year is a perfect time to look at what worked this past year and what didn’t work.

I use this tradition as a time to return to the light by reviewing my commitments to myself. I take a look at the results I am getting and accept that they tell me what I am committed to!

We have choice in every moment and I accept where I am based on my choices. I take 100% responsibility for where I am and renew my commitment to give love and to be loved.

My puppy is all love and he can provide me with daily reminders to stay true to myself.

"There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under the heavens..."

-Ecclesiastes 3:1
