A NEW DAY

"Tomorrow is a new day. You shall begin it well and serenely and with too high a spirit to be cumbered with your old nonsense." ~Ralph Waldo Emerson

How do we recognize our own nonsense ? And what can we do to start again?

The middle of the summer always moves me to stop to ask myself if am I ready for August?

You may want to join me...........

I pull out a fresh piece of paper and make five columns:

In the first column, brainstorm the actions or behaviors we would like to STOP doing.

The second column list activities we would like to DO LESS of.

The third column we can devote to actions or behaviors we want to KEEP DOING.

The fourth column is the DO MORE column.

The final column is the START DO column.

What popped up for you to consider?

"And so with the sunshine and the great bursts of leaves growing on the trees, just as things grow in fast movies, I had that familiar conviction that life was beginning over again with the summer." —F. Scott Fitzgerald, The Great Gatsby
